Each class has a very different type of charge bar, and a different “special effect” on combat once you reach 100%: Embermage: Enter a state called “Total Concentration”.
The charge bar acts as a way to increase the damage your character inflicts on enemies. Another feature of the Torchlight 2 combat is the inclusion of the charge bar. Frost is definitely the way to go if looking for a powerful embermage that doesn't rely on prismatic bolt.
